Ahsoka‘s conclusion is more positive than not because the series was great in almost everything. Because most Star Wars stories are told backward, in a Yoda way of speaking, with prequels upon prequels, anyone looking for coherence will be frustrated. Others who complain are from the first generation of fans, who see Luke Skywalker (Mark Hammill) as the greatest and insurmountable Jedi losing his importance in the franchise every day. Be that as it may, Ahsoka is a passage to the film about Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), the conclusion would, of course, be “inconclusive”. Let’s see what happened.
Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) and Morgan Eslbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) are ready to leave at last, and the Nightsisters thank Morgan for bringing them the Eye of Sion and initiate her into the Sisterhood, handing it over to her after the Talzin’s blade initiation ceremony, which Clone Wars fans recognize. Meanwhile, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) try to organize themselves to stop them. But it will be impossible, we know.

It’s unclear whether Erza knows that Sabine chose to hand herself over to Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) to find him, but Ahsoka doesn’t blame her. She supports her choice and protects her, creating a definitive bond between them. Thrawn, of course, is in the lead. Under his command, Dark Troopers (actually zombies), and with the help of the witches, and Morgan try to stop them. They manage to buy enough time for Thrawn to effectively escape. Ahsoka tells Sabine and Ezra to follow to arrest the villain, but Sabine stays behind and helps Ahsoka, they are trapped in the galaxy while Ezra manages to return. And Baylan Skoll’s plot? Find Mortis, where the source of the Force is. Ahsoka also seems to want to go there.
Overall, Ahsoka was a gift for Rebels and Clone Wars fans, but impossible to follow for the uninitiated. More than tying up stories, the series effectively marks a new stage and vision for the entire franchise, which further confuses those who cling to tradition. We are revisiting the legend of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), and the series is exciting, and fun and has all the potential to be ground zero for a new series of stories, something the franchise is grateful for. That said, I confess that I found some of the fights bordering on clumsy, I also found the zombies a bit silly, but, as a fan of Rebels, I’m more excited for what’s to come. May the Force be with everyone.
