Quem está fora da lista do SAG Awards pode se considerar fora do Oscar e do Emmy. Isso mesmo, os indicados ao SAG foram anunciados hoje e como os votantes são os mesmos das outras premiações, é a melhor dica do que veremos no palco dizendo ‘uau’, ‘quero agradecer ao meu agente’, etc.
Em 2023, para mostrar que a métrica se aplica, quatro vencedores do SAG – Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan e Jamie Lee Curtis – conquistaram o Oscar. É verdade que o SAG não tem prêmio de melhor filme, quando elege o melhor elenco, é sua sugestão. Há 31 anos, desde que foi criado, apenas quatro filmes ignorados na premiação ganharam o Oscar de melhor filme: Coração Valente, no 1º ano do SAG, A Forma da Água em 2017, Livro Verde, em 2018 e Nomadland, há quatro anos.
