There are 29 books with Jack Reacher and the Amazon Prime Video series has already confirmed what the basis of the third season will be: Persuader, considered one of the best in the franchise.

With star Alan Ritchson there is another name confirmed, that of actress Maria Sten who returns as Jack Reacher’s best friend, Frances Neagley. Therefore, she is the only one of the supporting cast to be in all three seasons.

In Persuader, Reacher will once again find himself in the middle of a complex plot. The former military police investigator, now a nomad, agrees to join a dangerous operation to try to arrest drug dealer Zachary Beck and rescue an informant. On this mission, the big guy ends up creating a personal bond that puts everything at risk, especially when he discovers that an enemy of his, Francis Xavier Quinn, is involved. Ten years earlier, Quinn brutally mutilated and killed a fellow Reacher – Dominique Kohl – and was presumed dead. However, the villain is not only alive but works with Zachary Beck, and Reacher now has a personal motivation to solve all the problems, with the help of Neagley, of course.
