Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) is a nomadic loner, an ex-military man who, even without searching, always finds himself in the middle of a lot of violence and confusion. Her friend, partner, and e-colleague from the 110th Battalion is Frances Neagley (Maria Stem), whose aversion to physical contact makes her paradoxically empathetic and charismatic. So it is!

Alan Ritchson‘s friendliness in the role that once belonged to Tom Cruise in theaters is one of the attractions of the Reacher series, whose success in the first two seasons guaranteed the production of the third. Alongside her, Danish actress Maria Stem has already become a fan favorite, who celebrates her return confirmation. Not bad for Miss Denmark 2008, who competed for the world title, don’t you agree?
For international audiences, it is easy to see Mary’s beauty, but we know little about her. Until now. Actress, writer, director, and Miss, Maria has Danish, Swedish and Congolese roots, in an exotic and curious combination.
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Maria has eight siblings but is closest to only one older sister. With undeniable beauty, she began modeling as a child, as her mother was a professional artist. Her vocation for theater came from childhood, taking part in theater at school and participating in the Scandinavian Theater School. What fits perfectly with Reacher is the fact that Maria also learned kickboxing, which makes her action scenes have a clear realism.

Her height encouraged her to try a career in modeling and so she moved to New York, in the United States, when she was just 18 years old. In Manhattan, she posed, studied theater, and started writing, after just 10 years she was selected as a writer at the ATX Television Festival and The Black List. In the same year, she was selected for the Black List x WIF Episodic Laboratory, as well as writing two episodes of the series Big Sky, by David E. Kelley.
As she made her way in front of the screen, she established herself as a showrunner and creator. She wrote, directed, and produced the short films Wild Things Run Free and When It Burns, making it to the list of the 100 best new writers of 2018, voted by the most influential in Hollywood.

Before shining as the mysterious and curious Frances Neagley, Maria Sten led the cast of the fourth season of The Dream Door and played Liz Tremayne in the television series Swamp Thing, which is part of the DC universe. In other words, it was much easier to fish because she was able to bring the necessary depth to Neagley. Lucky for us, isn’t it?
