In a few hours, we will have the teaser for the second season of Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, but I am in great disbelief. This is because the production announced with so much volume, which cost millions, was a profound disappointment, with bad acting a confusing, uninvolved narrative, and a very problematic protagonist.

In the new stage, there are many new names, including the great Ciarán Hinds, Rory Kinnear and Tanya Moodie, who will be alongside Morfydd Clark (Galadriel), Ismael Cruz Córdova (Arondir), Sophia Nomvete (Princess Disa), Owain Arthur (Prince Durin IV) and Peter Mullan (King Durin III), as well as, of course, Charles Vickers (Sauron).

The first season was marked by Galadriel’s obsession with revenge and how it blinded her from identifying the enemy she saved. In the second, as Morfydd commented at CCXP SP, Galadriel will use one of the elven rings forged by Sauron, and the additional ones will be forged at this stage of the story. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was seen by more than 100 million people around the world and is expected to continue its success.
