The Bear is wonderful. The award-winning series deserves all the hype, even if it is a drama sold as a comedy. There are no laughs. Tears? Several. Laughter? None.

In season 2 we saw Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) overcome the trauma of his brother’s suicide, something that made him return to Chicago, to use his prestige as a brilliant chef to create a luxury restaurant in place of his brother’s failed diner. Although he has more than the right to fall in love, we see how easily Carmy destroys his personal life and kind of everyone wants him to do just that.

In the 3rd season, he leads his team to seek recognition from specialized critics, while trying to resolve his sentimental issues. We all give Bear 10 stars, but food critics are known for being harsh. The new season of the series premieres in a week. Who’s hungry for more?
