6 Foreshadowings of the Targaryen Destinies in House of the Dragon Season 2

If you know, you know. The code that tries to avoid spoilers in House of the Dragon applies when fans identify the foreshadowings of the fate of characters with images that are not at all subtle for those who know. Want to know which ones? Let’s look at the 6 foreshadowings of season 2.

1- Jacaerys Velaryon

Rhaenyra’s firstborn is already living his days numbered with a tragic and heroic death getting closer and closer.

The image of his fiancée, Baela, practicing the target with an Arrow drove readers crazy on social media, considering it a bad omen that she was aiming at him (she wasn’t). Jacaerys will die infested with arrows while trying to save his younger brothers from a shipwreck. It will be heartbreaking.

2- Aemond Targaryen

Aemond already announces the current prince regent’s obsession with facing his uncle, Daemon. When this happens, near Harrenhal, Aemond will be overthrown with Vhagar by Daemon and Caraxes, and before the fall the rebel prince will jump from one dragon to the other, piercing Aemond’s only “good” eye with his sword. Yes, when he aims Daemon’s coin while covering his good eye, many people understood the scene as a foreshadowing. Could it be?

3- Daemon Targaryen

Allys Rivers’ warning that Daemon “would die there” seemed figurative, but it was literal. Daemon will die at Harrenhal, but facing Aemond. It’s not really a surprise.

4- Rhaenyra Targaryen

The series should end with the defeat of Rhaenyra, who, with the help of Ser Larys Strong, will fall into a trap set by Aegon II and be killed when she is handed over to the dragon Sunfire.

The image of the Queen witnessing a man being killed with dragon blood was a premonition and not at all subtle!

5- Helaena Targaryen

Poor Helaena, her traumas are countless and her fate is one of the saddest in history. It has yet to be confirmed whether it will be murder or suicide, but the image of her against the spiked wall in King’s Landing says it all.

6- Shepard

In the attack on Alicent and Helaena, a man who dared to touch the Queen lost his hand. Fans believe that he is Shepard, the common man who will incite the attack and extinction of the dragons. Could it really be him?
