Those who follow the stories of Hollywood and the Music Industry know that excesses, drugs, and scandals are as common as the air that celebrities breathe. The current drama of the fall of Sean Combs, P. Diddy or Puffy Daddy, is one of the most relevant chapters in the entire History of Entertainment.
What began as a sex scandal – Sean Combs is being accused of having raped, drugged, filmed, assaulted, and abused men and women for decades – could include murders, attacks and assaults. This is according to a controversial and dubious memoir by Sean’s ex-wife, Kim Porter, who died suddenly of pneumonia in 2018. The suspicion fueled to the point of frenzy this week places her at the heart of the conspiracy led by the accused to cover the tracks that would lead the FBI straight to her door. Could this really be the case?
That’s why it’s important to know who Kim Porter is, because outside the United States and the celebrity world, many may not know.

Kim was married to Sean “Diddy” Combs and is the mother of his four children. They met when she already had a son, Quincy (whom he adopted), from her relationship with producer Albert Joseph Brown, known as Al B. Sure!. When they started dating, in 1994, Sean Combs was not yet famous and Kim, who had already been a model, was his inseparable partner.
Given Sean’s rise as a rap star, the relationship went through ups and downs. They separated a year after their first child was born when the musician started dating Jennifer Lopez. They got back together in 2003 and had twins D’Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs three years later. The marriage ended in 2007, following more betrayals on his part.
Although always surrounded by beautiful and famous women, Sean Combs made a point of making his adoration for Kim public, and the two remained friendly. When she was found dead in her Los Angeles home on November 15, 2018, at just 47 years old, he posted on his social media: “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you, honey. I miss you so much. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love,” he wrote and deleted. An autopsy report later revealed that Kim died of lobar pneumonia.

The suddenness of Kim Porter’s death has always been considered suspicious and the seed of several conspiracies. As the musician’s wife, she certainly witnessed the crimes he is now accused of, and some argue that her death could have been a cover-up. Even more so since the coroner who signed her autopsy also died shortly afterward.
This is the suspicion raised by Chris Todd, who has no connection to the family, but who published KIM’S LOST WORDS claiming it was the diary that Kim Porter kept as a draft before she died. Kim’s children have denied the legitimacy of the book, but it is explosive and exposes even more people who were part of her and Sean’s closest circle.
“Claims that our mother wrote a book are simply false,” they said in a statement on Instagram. “She did not. And anyone who claims to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.” The problem is that, in light of everything that is coming to light, Al B. Sure! also took to Instagram to call for an investigation into Kim’s death. In other words, with everything that is in this book, people are already raising all the suspicions of the most absurd things possible. And we’re just getting started.
Kim’s children, who are raised by and support Sean Combs, are mourning. “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother,” the statement continued. “She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us so soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grieving is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our plea for peace as we continue to deal with her loss every day,” they insist.

We also need to be careful about fake news. Chris Todd himself told Rolling Stone that he could not vouch for the authenticity of the book after claiming to have received a flash drive containing the book from two “music industry” sources. However, he believes the content is authentic.
At 59 pages, KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side… was self-published on Amazon in early September and is full of typos and factual inaccuracies, as everyone who read it noticed, but it also has details that frighteningly don’t sound so absurd and involve many well-known people.
There will be an investigation into those responsible for the publication and Kim’s family has asked Amazon to remove the book from its
