As a film and TV enthusiast, I can say that maestro and composer John Williams has left an even greater mark on me than directors, screenwriters, or directors. At 92 years old, still working, he created some of the most iconic themes in world pop culture. In November 2024, his career will be honored with the documentary The Music of John Williams, on Disney Plus.

And it is more than deserved because, with just a few notes that came from within his soul and brain, our emotions immediately surface. Whether it is panic with Jaws, the desire to laugh with the Indiana Jones theme, or wanting to be a Jedi with the Star Wars theme, wanting to adopt an E.T., or bursting into tears with the melody of Schindler’s List. His contribution places him on the level of Gods, unanimously revered. For me, having only 5 Oscars is not enough.
