We can conclude that challenging content really doesn’t respond well in binary universes. The bold attempt to update the Olympus melodrama into fun content like Kaos pleased the critics, but not Netflix. That’s right, we won’t have a second season.
I was already super suspicious. And schooled! The last series that kept me glued to the screens and often without really understanding the proposal was Raised by Wolves, which I loved and which I will have to accept with an abrupt ending. In the case of Kaos, critics have always highlighted Charlie Covell‘s lofty ambition that gave Jeff Goldblum a great opportunity to shine as the all-powerful Zeus.

The conclusion of the eight-episode season came well before the end of the story, which still had a good part to go. And for many, the news of the cancellation was surprising because the series spent no less than four weeks in Netflix’s top 10. However, once the news wore off, it seems to have plummeted. A bad joke for the Gods, it seems.
From now until the end of the year, we will be surprised, happy, or sad every day as the platforms give news about investments for 2025 and 2026.
In the case of Netflix, I’m not even worried. It always has something interesting up its sleeve.
