As 2024 comes to a close, especially as December enters, we can really start discussing the likely winners of 2025, since the awards calendar is already in full swing.

On November 1st, entries for the Screen Actors Guild Awards (the true barometer of the Oscars) were already open, and on the 4th, campaigns for the Golden Globes began. Sunday’s event by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with the 15th Annual Governors Awards already showed who really wants to be in the Oscar race, and so we go!

Today, November 18th, voting for the Golden Globe Awards TV nominations began and this screening will continue until Sunday, the 24th. The nominees will be announced on December 9th. On the same day, preliminary voting for the Oscar finalists list begins, and the nominees will be announced on December 17th.
