While the British Royal Family across the pond faced a year full of health setbacks, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated the end of 2024 with the activity report of their foundation, Archewell, accompanied by a nearly two-minute video, set to the tune of A Sky Full Of Stars by Coldplay and images of the various events and initiatives led by the couple.

“We are proud to share the Archewell Foundation’s annual impact report, detailing our work over the past year,” the post reads. “In a world that often feels divided, there are moments that stand out, reminding us of the power we have when we come together. As we reflect on this year, we are grateful to the communities and partners who have joined us on this journey. Together, we are building a future of purpose, belonging, and joy – and we invite you to be a part of it.”
Archewell Foundation is the charity the couple set up after moving to the US, and the report details the couple’s philanthropic efforts throughout the year, including in Nigeria, Colombia, and Canada, in early 2024. We also see Meghan cooking with other women, attending the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas, as Harry does in New York, raising awareness about the dangers of social media for children.

Outside of official sources, there are also reports that Meghan is preparing to make a big comeback to public life, something promised for 2024 but delayed until 2025. While trying to sort out the issues with the American Riviera Orchard trademark, she has been looking for someone to run her business and apparently made a decision. The perfect candidate turns out to be herself.
According to Page Six, Meghan Markle has reportedly named herself CEO of her lifestyle brand after months of conducting interviews without finding anyone she thought was right for the role. PageSix’s source says the former actress is excited that 2025 will be “a good year for Meghan” because she’s been working hard behind the scenes to prepare, and her brand is expected to launch “in the first few months of 2025.”

The original target was the first half of 2024 when she teased ARO and gave away some homemade jams to celebrity friends. Meghan has currently filed for a three-month extension with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to secure a new trademark. If she and her team miss the deadline again, which they did in the past, she’ll be forced to start the application process all over again. The main problem has been that American Riviera Orchard is what Montecito is called, and companies can’t trademark geographic locations. It looks like she’ll have to change her name. Either way, 2025 should be “the” year for Meghan Markle. She just needs to tell the bullies to leave her alone.
