Logically – and with possession of the gun – the main candidate to be floating in the lake of the Thai arm of the White Lotus is Timothy Ratliff (Jason Isaacs), whose life as he knew it before arriving at the hotel is definitively destroyed. If it is so obvious, could it really be him?

Considering that there will be a shootout lasting minutes at the hotel, we still think that the dead man (or woman) is a victim of the confrontation, but one thing does not eliminate the other. Timothy could take his own life or be killed when Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) tries to get the revolver back. Will he?
Many parallel stories could lead to violence.
- We have the criminal sociopath Greg/Gary Hunt (Jon Gries), who is worried (rightly) about having been identified by Belina (Natasha Rothwell). He may go after Belinda and exchange gunfire with the security guards.
- The gang that is operating at the White Lotus is taking advantage of Gaitok’s innocence and may return for another assault on the hotel.
- A Timothy outburst
- Rick Hatchett (Walton Goggins), in his personal vendetta against the hotel owners
- Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) may be in the crossfire.
In the hide-and-seek episode, we see everyone hiding some pain and looking for relief.

We open with Jaclyn (Michele Moganahan), who is feeling ghosted by her husband and who, in a rush, wants “more fun”. Obviously, everything that is done in the sense of immediate pleasure and revenge goes wrong, but Kate (Leslie Bibb) and Laurie (Carrie Coon) obey and go along.
It’s funny when they are sent to the “old people’s hotel,s” and Jaclyn, who is over 50, gets offended. They “kidnap” their Russian butler, Valentin, who takes them to a party with two other friends, Aleksei (Julian Kostov) and Vlad (Yuri Kolokolnikov). They seem very mafia-like, but we’ll find out more at next week’s full moon rave. The Internet suspects these guys are the ones robbing the White Lotus, and the evidence is strong (tattoos, Valentin’s suspicious behavior, etc.).

At the boat party, everyone is putting up with each other and drinking, with an ultra-sinister Greg watching everyone. Rick confirms the theory that his father’s killer is Jim Hollinger, and that’s why he wants to go to Bangkok to kill him. Guys, I still think Hollinger is Rick’s father, but we’ll find out soon.
I don’t like that Chelsea is the favorite to die because she keeps saying that she “almost died” and that it was a sign of a bigger tragedy. This happens the “third” time. Chelsea is the best thing at White Lotus since Tanya. Please save Chelsea! She gets Rick to open up and tries to stop him but ends up joining the boat party with the other guys looking for fun. Obviously, Greg/Gary is keeping an eye on Chloe and Saxon’s flirting, but for now, he does what Belinda did too: researches her on the Internet.

Next week’s trailer doesn’t reveal the consequences of what we saw today, but it’s the penultimate episode, so it’ll be full of twists and turns.
Do you have your theory yet?
