Who Dies in The White Lotus: Betting Odds for Season 3

With three episodes left in the season finale, nothing is clearer in The White Lotus and the atmosphere is only heating up, heating up the betting pools of who will die and stay in Thailand forever?

In the trailers for season 3, there are a few scenes that have not yet been shown: Kate, Laurie, and Jaclyn escaping through the window of a bungalow; Rick confronting his father’s killer; Tim pointing a gun at someone, Victoria screaming to the afterlife; Saxon having sex with someone on the boat (the previous image was of him celebrating something with his brother) and the bag with the body of the mysterious victim being loaded onto a plane. If the night of the Full Moon was that low, the aftermath would be pure tension.

If there is one thing that Mike White is not, it is obvious. So, I’m almost eliminating Greg/Gary from the list, but thinking that what might be different is “how” he dies, I maintain my desire for reparations for Tanya.

What is indisputable is that we already have more arguments to guess. According to the Internet, who is on the list of “favorites to die”?

What many people are raising is that if in the season set in Hawaii, the victim was the manager in a bizarre accident, in the Sicilian season we have several deaths on a yacht, but unfortunately, Tanya McQuoid manages to escape the conspiracy to kill her only to slip and fall off the yacht, dying as Greg wanted. If we have a manager and a guest dead, many are betting that we will have to avoid repeats. We have a way to fill this gap.

Having a K-Pop megastar like Lalisa Manobal and only seeing her dance seems like little. Many believe that the sweet Mook will be the floating body. Whether her lover Gaitok will be accidentally responsible we still don’t know, but she is one of the biggest bets on social media.

Another one that has been popping up among the favorites is Chloe, Greg/Gary’s current girlfriend who is his accomplice in Thailand. One of the most explicit hints was her confessing to Chelsea that she knows her boyfriend is dangerous and jealous, but still openly flirting with Saxon. Chloe’s participation should increase in the final episodes which could result in her death.

Some also risk saying that Laurie could inadvertently be in the middle of the dispute between the Russian mobsters, led by Valentin, and be killed in the middle of the shootout. I don’t know… my bet on the three fake friends is that they leave Thailand fighting… but alive.

No one has said it, but the entrance of Sam Rockwell as Frank – who is already unforgettable – could mark his exit as well. He is in Bangkok helping Rick, but what if he goes with him to the White Lotus? Frank says he abandoned his days of assassination for Buddhism, but he got the weapons that Rick wanted. Will he end up dying for his friend?

Of course, speaking of which, everyone has Rick and his girlfriend, Chelsea, at the top of the list of dead (which makes me inclined to exclude them).

Rick Hatchett is one of the most problematic characters and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown in The White Lotus. Chelsea is rightly worried about him. The revenge that blinds him at the moment could shorten his life, in an undeniable suicidal spirit.

Chelsea keeps saying that she “almost died” twice (when she was actually bitten by a snake). Would a third time be a certain death? I hope not. Chelsea is the audience’s favorite, just like Tanya was before. Wait… oh! Really?

The other big favorite to pay the price is poor Belinda, who was unlucky enough to get an internship at the hotel chain where she works, precisely at the hotel that Greg/Gary frequented. He knows that she knows about Tanya, and since he’s wanted by the police, it’s best to eliminate witnesses. But I’m rooting for the masseuse’s safety, especially since it was her son who saw the body floating.

Belinda will get more than she bargained for if her suspicions about Greg turn into an obsession. He is a dangerous and unscrupulous man who will not hesitate to kill Belinda if his identity is put at risk. In the dangerous game played by the staff and guests of The White Lotus, those who do not have the privilege of wealth and influence tend to get the worst of it, and Belinda is no different.

Vitoria is another “successor” of Tanya and is among the three most likely victims of the season. Initially high on tranquilizers, but always aware of everything that happens around her. What fans of The White Lotus discuss is that currently, the withdrawal from the drugs makes her a ticking time bomb. It is a possibility.

The days of happiness and luxury must be numbered for Greg. First, he seems to have been the author of the plan to kill Tanya, now he will do everything to stay where and how he is.

On the men’s side, the biggest bets are on Tim Ratliff, who is armed and desperate because he has lost his family’s entire fortune and is still at risk of going to jail. He already wants to take his own life, losing her in a shootout is one of the quickest ways.

Another one who is on the list because everyone agrees he is despicable is Saxon Ratliff. Saxon could die at the hands of Greg/Gary, in an accident with the gun his father stole, or because he freaked out after incest with his brother on the yacht on the night of the Full Moon. I think it’s quite plausible!

Since the only one who says the phrase “coming home in a plastic bag” is Belinda, I keep her as the most likely victim of the season. Tanya had also said that “death is the only experience I haven’t had yet” on the 1st, and we know she ended up crossing that off her list.

Chelsea, who is always talking about “I almost died” is now in the top 3. Greg/Gary can eliminate Belinda, but I want Tanya’s ghost to cause a stupid death, one that makes him pay for everything. That’s my most likely threesome.

Not to mention that Gaitok’s incompetence is what is opening the door for yet another crime at the White Lotus. Will he be the one to die?
