Everyone can complain, but The White Lotus continues to break records and will have no less than 1h30 to conclude the third season, which is tense and full of bets about “who will die” this time.
The doubts and bets are still hot and we are far from deducing the victim. Or victims, in the plural. And we continue to look for clues in the trailer, in the actors’ interviews, in the scenes we rewatch. I continue to consider everything possible.

The best clue is perhaps in the title of the episode: “Amor Fati” which, in Latin, means “love of fate” or “acceptance of fate”. The concept is linked to Stoic philosophy and was also popularized by Friedrich Nietzsche. And we have many guests in existential crisis, do you agree?
The central idea of Amor Fati is to accept everything that happens in life—both the good and the bad—without resistance, but rather with an attitude of affirmation and learning. Instead of fighting against fate, we should embrace it and find meaning in it. In the context of The White Lotus, this title could suggest that the characters will have to accept the inevitable consequences of their choices, whether that be death, suffering, or a shocking revelation.
As Scott Glenn aptly described to Town and Country about his brief participation in the season: “What happens on The White Lotus in each season and in each episode is that you go back and forth between the stories of guests and staff. There might be seven or eight stories, and all the people involved are facing life-changing events. It’s almost like the show is like a pinball game and the audience’s attention is the ball. At the end of it all, there is an answer to every life-changing situation in every story. I have my own life-changing situation,” he warns.
Embracing Fate. Life-Changing Events. There is an answer for every life change for everyone.
The final images of the trailer show Gaitok running with a gun in his hand and a drowning hand. Whose hand is that??? Let’s look at the Internet’s favorites to stay in Thailand for good, but not willingly?

Here are the most voted victims, in order:
Timothy Ratliff (Jason Isaacs): The disgraced financier who is struggling with emotional crises and suicidal thoughts, leads the odds that he could be the victim.
Rick Hatchett (Walton Goggins): The man with a mysterious past and career, who came to The White Lotus to confront his past, is in second place. Many hope they are wrong because now that Rick has found his inner peace, and has Chelsea so in love, it would be particularly sad if this were the end of his tormented existence.
Saxon Ratliff (Patrick Schwarzenegger): Known for his predatory and reckless behavior, which puts him in risky situations throughout the season, in the last episodes Saxon has changed the opinion of the audience who followed his change of attitude. However, it will be difficult not to fall into the trap of the vitamin poisoned by his father…

Belinda (Natasha Rothwell): The spa manager connects the previous seasons and her knowledge of past events, especially related to Greg, raises suspicions about his fate. Wouldn’t it have been easier to accept the $100,000 bribe?
Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong): The resort’s security guard seeks to prove his worth, but faces threats that could put him in mortal danger. He is at the bottom of the list of five, but since he will be in the shootout and is averse to violence, will he be the victim?
I was wrong in my bet on the previous two seasons, so don’t take my word for it!

On my list are Saxon or Tim, Rick, Laurie, or Fabian.
Let me explain: the white hand eliminates Belinda from any risk and she has to live so that Greg/Gary can “pay” for Tanya. Saxon is in the crosshairs of his own father and in the crossfire of Greg/Gary’s story. Rick because he is our anti-hero who, like Chelsea, wanted to save him. Laurie is in crisis and inadvertently aware of the Russian gang that robs the White Lotus. Lastly, Fabian just keeps up the tradition of the manager dying accidentally.
Will I get it right this time?
