The last six episodes of Andor are already legendary. Perfection from start to finish. And if 8 and 9, with the massacre of Ghorman, and the separation of Bix and Cassian that brought us to tears, get ready because there is MUCH more to come. The final scenes of the series will make you cry like a baby.
Here is the recap with SPOILERS.

The Blood of Rebellion
If you thought the violence and sacrifice of the previous violent episodes were the worst they could show us, wait until you find out the stories of Luthen and Kleya and how their arcs conclude.
We begin on Coruscant, a few weeks after the genocide in Ghorman, with Jung–Luthen’s spy in the Empire – extremely nervous and wanting protection for himself and his family. He had stolen Dedra’s password and accessed her files, where he came across highly confidential information about the Death Star, the so-called “end game” that Luthen had demanded of him.
Jung tells Luthen that Dedra has identified him and is coming after him, but even so, the collector does not stop working for the Rebellion. He kills Jung and leaves him at the public bank where they met, with his body quickly identified.

Luthen runs to the store and tells Kleya everything, ordering her to flee while he covers their tracks. The young woman realizes that there is something of a farewell in their conversation and pretends to obey, staying close by. There is no time: Dedra arrives at the antique shop, putting on a fake show for Luthen until she finally confronts him.
Without thinking twice, Luthen tells her that it is too late: the Rebellion is already active throughout the galaxy. In a moment of Dedra’s distraction, he tries to kill himself, but she saves him and takes him to the hospital, making sure he stays alive for questioning. But things take an unexpected turn.
Kleia knows that Luthen cannot survive, and in episode 11, we see how she solves the problem. What is important here is that Dedra masterfully gets herself into trouble.

Obsessed with being the person to arrest “Axis”, she disobeyed superior orders and went after Luthen without backup, which is already problematic due to insubordination and lack of preparation. But what she did not count on is that, when they find Jung’s body, they find the key to her files with him, putting Dedra at the top of the list of suspects for having killed Jung. Why? Because Dedra secretly had access to confidential documents, such as the Death Star, that were not for her rank. Everyone concludes, especially a terrifying Krennic, that she killed Jung because she was discovered as a rebel spy.
You can read it again. Dedra’s downfall is because she is accused and condemned to life in prison as rebel spy.
Krennic believes that Dedra was a double agent as all the facts and evidence are against her. Immediately arrested, she loses everything.
FLASHBACK – “Make it stop”
While everyone at the IBS – Imperial Security Bureau – is in a bad way, it is a flashback in Kleia’s memories that moves us. She begins to prepare to end her mentor’s life and remembers the most important moments of their lives.
She met him as a child, when she was found by Luthen after her entire planet was decimated. Luthen, a sergeant in the Empire, is shocked by what he saw and did, wanting to give up everything. Luthen saves Kleia and starts raising/training her for a long-term plan, one that demands resilience and coldness from both of them, as they are two terrorists with a cause. One that is at risk if he survives.

Episode 11 is a game of cat and mouse, with Kleia killing Luthen in the hospital, but being sought by the Empire and needing help to leave the planet. She sends out radio signals, but is ignored for hours until Cassian comes to the rescue.
Dedra, who has been interrogated and is sentenced to prison (it’s so delicious to see her doing badly), has Denise Gough putting on a show. She still helps the ISB locate Kleia, but remains imprisoned.
On Yavin, they don’t want to risk soldiers for Luthen and Kleia, but Cassian doesn’t hesitate to challenge everyone. Accompanied by K-2SO and Melshi, he returns to Coruscant to help, but is cornered by Stormtroopers. The rescue sequence is a lesson in well-constructed tension and stops before the confrontation.

The hours leading up to Rogue One
To escape, Andor, Kleia, and Melshi have to face larger teams of Stormtroopers, and when it seems like it will be the end, K-2SO saves them. When they return to camp, they are reprimanded by their superiors, irritated by their insubordination. After all, no one feels sorry for Luthen’s death or cares about Kleia: it’s the sad reality of a world where politics and distrust rule. The rebel leadership doesn’t believe that a great weapon is being built, no matter how much Cassian tries to warn them.
There’s the famous Star Wars Rebels scene with the argument between Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma, but in general, cynicism prevails. However, Mon ends up convincing herself and Bail Organa, who sends Cassian on the mission that opens Rogue One.
Before that, Vel goes to talk to Cassian and asks if he has spoken to Bix again, mysteriously insisting that Cassian look for her as soon as possible. He says that when the mission is over, he will do so. If you are not bursting into tears, you have no heart.

To the sound of the powerful soundtrack of Andor, Cassian appears already dressed in Rogue One in a shot that only tortures us with emotion. And then we go to Mina-Rau, where B2EMO is playing with another droid, and we see Bix walking in the distance in the plantation. When she turns around, we see her holding her baby, at peace and looking at the sky, perhaps waiting for Cassian Andor. But we, who know that he is already on the mission of Rogue One, will never know that he was a father and that he had everything he wanted: a family. He dies with Jyn Erso saving the galaxy, but never reuniting with his sister, his wife, or his son. And we end up on the floor, breathless with such a perfect conclusion. Andor is the best series of 2025. Bring on the awards!
