The success secured a new season of The Gilded Age.

We’re in the middle of The Gilded Age Season 3, and ever since the premiere, we’ve been following every detail—so let’s celebrate: the show is a global sensation right now and has just been renewed for another season!

But what does that mean?

Everything left unresolved at the end of this season won’t be answered until 2027.

That’s right. This season is dense, intense, fast-paced, and full of twists. We know the drama hasn’t even reached its peak—with the death of Oscar’s lover, the Russells’ marital crisis, the wave of divorces and gossip among the rich, and especially the blink-and-you-missed-it engagement between Larry and Marian. Peggy’s entire storyline is just getting started. But none of this will be resolved in less than two years.

You read that correctly.

The Gilded Age airs in alternating years. If the next season’s script is already written—best case and highly unlikely—filming could begin in early 2026, and that means we could hope for a release in the first half of 2027. A more realistic outlook? If everything goes smoothly, we anticipate a late 2027 release.

How are we supposed to endure the suspense until then?

Still, it’s good news—because this season is an absolute delight.

We’ll be back soon to dive into all the theories and speculations we can cling to until 2027!
