Right after being outsmarted by the billionaire trio and finding themselves legally gagged from saying much on the podcast, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel decide to channel their creativity into finding ways to keep investigating without breaking the rules. This time, they receive unexpected — and complete — help from Detective Donna Williams. Yes, after five seasons of being dragged into Arconia against her will, she is now officially on their side. And not just any ally: the most important one, given that she is a cop, and her investigations carry real weight.
The episode opens with one of the best lines of the season:
“You know what real money buys? The most valuable thing in the world: silence.”
Williams is taken to the secret casino and brought up to speed on everything the trio has uncovered so far. The place is spotless — which leads her to give them their first piece of advice: talk to the staff. “Everything rich people do and try to erase, they pay someone else to clean up,” she says, promising to look into the mystery of the severed finger. Meanwhile, Charles confesses to Oliver that he’s been taking testosterone, which explains his newfound energy and slightly erratic behavior.

Not wanting to lose momentum, the trio decides to “question” Sofia, who got them tangled up in this mess in the first place. Charles volunteers to handle the conversation, claiming to have a “connection” with her — something that might just be in his head.
Oliver, as always, can’t stop thinking about himself and is furious when he realizes there were shrimp remains in the casino. Either shrimp from his wedding reception were stolen, or — though he doesn’t say it out loud — one of the wedding guests was frequenting the secret gambling room.
Determined to dig deeper, Oliver and Mabel look for whoever might have been cleaning the casino and run into doorman Randall. Before he can say much, L.E.S.T.R. shows up with Howard, revealing that he already knows everything about the building’s residents — including their illnesses. Another familiar face also returns: Ursula, once again trying to sell her infamous milk in exchange for information. She admits she knew about the casino and mentions that many residents are leaving Arconia, threatening her job security.
Ursula also lets slip that the only person besides Lester who had access to the casino was “Tommy Tongue,” but won’t elaborate further. She confirms that since the podcast became a hit, the building has turned into a magnet for trouble. The next lead sends the trio after “Gary, the trash guy,” figuring that whatever was cleaned out of the casino would have ended up with him. But Gary has left the job, and Miller has been running trash duty for three years — and he knows everything. In the trash, after all, lie the secrets everyone wants to hide — including the apartment offer Oliver kept from the others.

While chasing leads, Oliver and Mabel are confronted by the building staff, who are anxious about the robot’s presence, leading to a condo meeting about AI use. Once again, we’re reminded that L.E.S.T.R. knows absolutely everything about everyone — even assigning them numerical rankings. But instead of following this lead, the trio zeroes in on finding “Tony Tongue,” now with the staff’s reluctant support.
Meanwhile, Charles meets Sofia for dinner — technically to interrogate her, but there’s no denying the mutual flirtation. To make things messier, Mayor Tillman and his assistant (my main suspects!) are also at the restaurant, with the mayor once again insisting on being part of the podcast.
Sofia claims she handed over the deck of cards — the casino key — without realizing what it was. The conversation quickly escalates into something more intimate, and yes, Charles spends the night with yet another suspect. But instead of learning anything meaningful, he wakes up to find Sofia has stolen his phone (and password), taking all their information with her.

The trio then tracks Sofia’s phone to Flatbush, following her location via the app. At the same time, Randall and Miller kidnap L.E.S.T.R. and throw him off the roof. Howard is devastated, but the robot is replaced immediately. As a “thank you” for letting him destroy the original robot, Miller gives the trio a collage of everything thrown away on the day doorman Lester was killed — essentially, a bulletin board of clues.
Among the evidence is a series of receipts for “Tommy Tongue,” whose address is, of course, in Flatbush. Williams calls to say that Tommy Tongue isn’t a person but a company — and warns them not to go there alone. Naturally, they ignore her and follow Sofia straight to the address.
Who opens the door? Lester’s widow. And in the final moment of the episode, the revelation drops: she and Sofia have been working together. But why? Were they plotting to take out their husbands?
