After finding out who was infiltrated in the biker gang, the new question is: who’s playing against their own team?
Task keeps getting more intense — and we keep getting more paranoid. After finally finding out who was infiltrated in the biker gang, a new bombshell drops: someone is working against the Task Force from the inside. Yes, Tom (Mark Ruffalo) has discovered that the team is compromised and that there’s a leak coming from within. But how did he figure it out?
The reveal was the final shock of episode 3. From that moment on, Tom is surrounded by suspects and starts questioning everyone’s loyalty. In other words, we now know that hunting down the traitor is part of the storyline — and the game just got even more exciting.

Online, fans didn’t waste a second before naming their favorites for the role of mole. The most cited name is Anthony Grasso (Fabien Frankel), the young detective who could be acting as a “bridge” between crime and law enforcement, whether out of ambition or blackmail. For someone who already plays Ser Criston Cole in House of the Dragon, it would feel pretty close to home, right? I know Westeros is far from Philadelphia, but Grasso feels almost too obvious.
Second on the list, many suspect Lizzie (Alison Oliver), precisely because she’s the “rookie” and spends most of her time in the background — the perfect cover to go unnoticed. She’s my gut pick, for those same reasons and because she froze when it came time to save Tom, not to mention her awkward attempt to have a moment with Grasso. Clumsy and frustrating, to say the least.
Others are pointing at Aleah (Thuso Mbedu), since she holds authority and access, which would make her betrayal even more dramatic. Her monologue about being beaten nearly to death and telling a witness that she “has been where she is” could be read more than one way. That would be a bold twist.

And, of course, there are the wilder theories that put Kathleen McGinty (Martha Plimpton) in the hot seat — after all, infiltrating the top is the best way to sabotage everything from above. It’s not impossible…
For now, it’s all speculation — but that’s part of the fun of Task: playing detective alongside Tom, doubting everyone, and waiting for that glorious moment when the traitor is finally unmasked. Until then, we’ll keep watching every scene twice, magnifying glass in hand, trying to guess which face is hiding a secret agenda.
