In an emergency session with her therapist, Carr unloads every ounce of hatred she harbors toward Liberty, Allura, Emerald — and even Dina. Another sensational showcase for Sarah Paulson.
But the trigger for the crisis is immediate: Liberty’s wedding. Carr needs to prepare for the Final Revenge.
The manipulation starts where it hurts most: Liberty
The first move is to unsettle Liberty, who is openly opposed to Carr joining the firm — though she pretends to admire her “secretly.” Carr strikes at Liberty’s deepest insecurity: her feeling of never quite belonging to the group for being foreign. Unsurprisingly, it works.
Carr offers an unexpected gift — china decorated with Princess Diana’s face — and gently inserts herself into wedding preparations. The door opens exactly as planned.
Carr is, quite simply, an evil genius.
We then see Liberty trying — almost desperately — to immerse Allura, Dina, and Emerald in her Australian culture. When the women joke about the bridesmaids’ dresses, Liberty snaps and blurts out, “Carr was right.” The comment shocks everyone — and raises Dina’s suspicion about what Carr may have been whispering to Liberty.
The revelation about Reggie
Emerald tells Allura that she used the same facial recognition software that helped identify Lloyd to investigate Reggie, framed as a “wedding gift” to Liberty. Pause. What? After nine episodes of pushing Liberty to marry the so-called last decent man alive, now she decides to investigate him? And calls it a gift?
The discovery is serious: Reggie is financially insolvent and could put Liberty’s assets at risk. As Dina puts it, financial deception is the worst kind of betrayal. The dilemma becomes who will tell her.

Carr wins Liberty over
Carr’s plan unfolds perfectly. Liberty shows up at her office, upset at feeling like the butt of her friends’ jokes — exactly as Carr predicted.
Over English tea and shared admiration for Princess Diana, Carr reframes the situation. She never attacks Allura or Emerald directly. Instead, she plants the poison carefully: they love Liberty, she says, but they have limitations.
Liberty apologizes for judging Carr without knowing her better. Carr smiles. Another victory.
The secret vote
Dina becomes a nominal partner in the firm — though she insists on remaining only an advisor — with all the privileges of partnership. A secret vote is held on whether Carr should be admitted.
The result is a tie. Which means no one has to reveal how they voted, and the decision is postponed.
What we know, however, is that Dina changed her mind and voted against Carr — even though it appears that Liberty and Allura were the ones who blocked her.
The final rupture between Dina and Carr
Carr meets Dina for a lunch scheduled weeks in advance, which Dina now claims to have forgotten. She has figured everything out.
Dina finally says what she avoided for too long: she regrets recommending Carr. Carr hasn’t changed. She is a sociopath. And it was never love — only pity.
Carr loses control. Dina delivers the final blow: “A disappointment never disappoints.”
Carr attempts to cry, then regains her composure within seconds. The coldness is chilling.
The truth about Reggie
It falls to Allura to tell Liberty the truth. Even after being named Maid of Honor, the responsibility remains.
Liberty confronts Reggie, cancels the wedding, and demands time. He tries to explain. She refuses. The lie outweighs any justification.

Carr poisons Allura
Now Carr turns to Allura. She deploys the same tactic: praise mixed with selective truth, carefully sowing doubt. She exploits the trauma left by Doug’s death and questions Dina’s emotional stability.
She presents fake emails — which Allura fails to recognize as such — as evidence of Dina’s supposed mental decline. Manipulating Allura proves even easier than manipulating Liberty.
The intervention — and Dina’s fall
The partners stage an intervention for Dina, with Carr present, under the pretext of concern for her mental health. Esperanza, Dina’s secretary, provides distorted testimonies — clearly coached by Carr. Moments taken out of context, including Dina’s breakdown, where she destroyed her kitchen, are reframed as proof of instability.
Dina opens up, speaks honestly — and only makes matters worse.
Then Detective Morrow enters. Dina is arrested for the murder of Lloyd Walton. She looks at Carr and laughs. This was part of the plan. And yes, I thought it was her, too. Sorry, Dina.
