Now that we know one of the masterminds behind the subway “hijacking” is the ever-so “helpful” doctor Jess, it is nerve-racking to watch how, pretending to be just another passenger, she quietly controls everything and everyone with calculated composure.
Teachers Colin and Lukas want to speak to Sam to request the students’ release. Jess pulls away at the exact moment Sam notices something suspicious in her bag. When she drops the object, what seems to appear before his eyes is the bomb detonator installed on the train.
Realizing Sam is unarmed, the passengers begin organizing to overpower him. Jess tries to persuade them to do nothing, but Sam himself, determined to retrieve the detonator, walks toward the carriage. The conversation is tense. At the agreed moment, Otto cuts the lights. Sam manages to grab the detonator and attempts to return to the command position, but he is attacked. A situation that was already fragile completely unravels.

In London, Daniel deepens his investigation to understand what is truly happening. He interrogates Stuart Atterton, a former associate of John Bailey, trying to connect the dots between Berlin and what appears to be something much bigger.
Meanwhile, Sam becomes a hostage to his own hostages. Uninformed passengers order Otto to stop the train, and he complies. Jess and Sam exchange a look that says more than any dialogue could. When everyone prepares to leave, Sam warns them: there is a bomb, and it will be detonated if anyone exits the train. One of the passengers confirms the threat is real.
Zoran informs his superiors about the bomb on the subway. Olivia raises a crucial question: how would Sam even know how to find someone capable of building such a device? Using the paper he left behind as a clue, they trace it to a bar where they attempt to locate the possible bomb maker.
Bailey Brown, irritated, demands to know where he is being taken. The question lingers: Does he truly not know what is happening, or is he pretending?
Under pressure, Sam confesses to the passengers that he is being forced to act. Jess watches him with such obvious suspicion that it is hard to understand how the others fail to notice. Petra, the elderly and sharp passenger, stands up and silently begins observing the interrogation. She does not take her eyes off Jess. Sam asks for cooperation. He wants everyone to follow the plan so they can get out alive.
Olivia receives a phone call just as Ada Winter is pressured to act and intervene in the hijacking. Ada, however, insists on maintaining the deal she made with Sam.
One of the passengers counts them: twelve bombs, two per carriage. As Sam explains the situation to the increasingly restless crowd, Petra watches Jess once again fiddling with her bag. Nothing escapes her.
The train starts moving again. Sam tells the police that everything remains under control. In a moment of vulnerability, he reveals he is doing all of this because, after losing his son, he wants to save his ex-wife, who is now in danger.
On another front, Marsha’s murderous neighbors hide the police officer’s body. She sees them. She pretends she has seen nothing, but the two realize they have been discovered. Or perhaps she truly does not understand what she witnessed. The doubt remains.
In London, Stuart lies to Daniel, claiming he knows nothing about what is unfolding in Berlin. The conversation drags on until he admits he is aware of the hijacking but insists he has no involvement beyond that.

At MI5 headquarters, Olivia reunites with Faber. He wants to examine the documents she gathered on Sam to find something that clears him. His search for Bailey Brown has left him vulnerable, and the key piece may lie with the person who sent Sam proof that the criminal was in Berlin.
Petra continues speaking with Mei. For her, something is deeply wrong. If Sam did not kill Freddie, then the murderer is among them. She has already identified Jess as suspicious, but she does not say it out loud yet. Mei refuses to help her investigate who else might be involved.
Lia finally discovers the pen drive Sam had hidden in the baby’s bag that was released earlier.
Petra confronts Jess and manages to seize the detonator. For a brief moment, it seems the truth will surface. But Sam once again loses control of the passengers. The police ordered that Bailey Brown not be handed over. From the look on his face, it is clear the terrorist knew everything all along.
Under pressure, Jess teaches them the code that must be entered every fifteen minutes to prevent detonation. They mistype it. The bomb in the last carriage is triggered.
Sam tries to evacuate the train in time. In the chaos, Petra is shoved, falls, and cannot make it out of the carriage. Sam escapes seconds before the explosion.
I think we have just lost the only truly intelligent person among the passengers.
