Steven Knight have already said that he would like to redeem Tommy before the story is over. The Tommy Shelby we know is a rational and practical man, with a twice broken heart and caring for his family. It doesn’t mean he’s ,ore than ready to sacrifice anyone or anything to achieve his goal. Which is…?

A bit like Michael Corleone of The Godfather, he wants the Shelby business to go legit and it’s almost there. He never expected to be fully clean, but he wanted to be more secure, u doubtfully.

• Who betrayed Tommy about Oswald Wosley? (I suspect strongly about one character and have a second option at hand. Actually, two options)

• Will Tommy and Polly forgive and forget and make amends?

Polly Gray

Polly raised her nephews and took care of the business, but ever since she regained her lost son, Michael, she changed. It’s always about her son and it’s no wonder Tommy distanced himself. She is in a crossroads.

• How will Polly be after she hears about Aberama Gold’s apparent death? Will she blame Tommy?
• Will she change her mind about resigning?
• Will she stand by Michael or Tommy?

Michael Gray

Polly’s son is ambitious and very suspicious. He was not raised as a Shelby, as much as he entered the criminal life by choice. He is upset and jealous of Tommy, having different plans for the group. Having a wife that supports that isn’t helpful for peace.

Tommy already knows that Michael’s loyalty is not for anyone but himself, which puts them at odds.
