Mattson Tomlin is not a showrunner apart from the universe of Game of Thrones fans and has been nudging us weekly with the start of work on Aegon’s Conquest. Now he gives us the hint that he is “in the North” with an encrypted post.

What can we anticipate?
In Aegon’s Conquest, Aegon I Targaryen and his sisters take most of Westeros and establish the Targaryen dynasty. The three and their dragons subjugated six of the Seven Kingdoms (only Dorne managed to resist), but they also had supportive houses and others that voluntarily submitted, such as the North, led by the Starks.
The conquest begins with Aegon’s vision of the Night King (something we discovered in House of the Dragon season 1) and with that, he decided to unify the territory under his rule. Those who bowed the knee would keep their lands and titles, but whoever resisted, would be destroyed.

Torrhen Stark was King in the North and did not abdicate immediately, uniting an army of Northmen of around thirty thousand men to resist, but when they reached the Trident, they saw destruction and devastation. Although many wanted to fight, Torrhen chose Peace. He surrendered to Aegon before shedding any more blood, becoming Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, also becoming known as the King Who Knelt.
Submission of the North is far ahead of conquest, but apparently, Matt is studying the Starks. Winter is coming!
