Sauron’s ring of power certainly has a name: Galadriel. The character’s destruction is so unique in Rings of Power that she almost drives me crazy when she appears. She is ALWAYS arrogant, ALWAYS proud, and above all, she is NEVER intelligent. It doesn’t matter if she was warned by Elrond or at this point by anyone. She always does exactly what Sauron knows she would do and thanks to her he is not only advancing in the project of the rings, he now has an army of Orcs.
The Amazon Prime Video series has improved drastically this season, with occasional cheesiness, but, in general, a more aligned and functioning plot. However, it maintains in Galadriel all the stupidity that a plot needs for the antagonist to advance, the most guilty elf in Middle-earth.

The episode begins in the forest, near Mordor, with the undeniably heroic Arondir tracking down Adar and the Orcs. He eliminates some Uruks and in the pocket of one of them there is a sketch of Eregion, so Adar has bigger plans than hunting Sauron.
Sauron, sorry, is unbeatable because as Elrond already warned and Adar also says: he finds out what you want and uses seduction not only to deceive you that he has achieved it, but that it was all done for you. It’s called Gaslighting.
Not only has Galadriel been fooling around for an entire season, but she has put her at his service now that she believes she is fighting him. That’s because she continues to do everything as expected, which works wonderfully for him.
In the city of the elves, Celebrimbor is also completely involved in the web of Annatar/Sauron’s lies and half-truths. The forge of the Nine is not going well, and he is unbearable. This makes it easy for Annatar to isolate him and gain ever greater power in Eregion. In fact, while the nine rings are not ready, he is also already controlling the dwarves and nothing that the others do seems to be unexpected by him.

In Númenor, the political dispute continues to boil, the Stranger has to choose between helping his friends or saving Middle-earth, just another day in Tolkien’s universe. And what really matters is in the Orcs’ camp, where Galadriel is being held hostage. Adar offers her a banquet, but she refuses. He tries to talk about what they have in common, but it doesn’t work.
The Uruk then repeats what she had already said to him: Sauron is still controlling her mentally. Her answer is typical and the proof he needed: no, because SHE knew how to resist, unlike him. Galadriel is definitely obtuse. Adar shrugs his shoulders, explaining that Sauron’s influence is inevitable, and suggests that they fight him together. Galadriel comments that Sauron promised her an army, which she got. When she sees Morgoth’s crown, guarded by Adar, she opens up more. This is because Adar massages the elf’s ego, saying that to kill Sauron it is necessary to combine the power of the three elven rings with the crown. Playing green, he reaps ripe. He knows that Halbrand is Sauron, but she resists confirming it, at first.
After assessing the situation, Galadriel decides that she can once again lead because she admits that Halbrand is Sauron, and reveals her purpose in going to Eregion, telling Adar that Sauron will stay there until he has created enough rings to dominate all of Middle-earth. She also tells him that Elrond and his forces are on their way to Eregion with her ring. So, yes, they can work together.

Together? She didn’t pay attention, as she never does, that Adar didn’t want to work with her, much less for her. He needed the partnership to find out some things, but since Galadriel has already told him everything he needed to know and more, thank you. I’ll go from here. Especially since she is unable to guarantee the safety of the Orcs after they eliminate Sauron. For Adar, there is no benefit or need to join the Elves.
As Adar orders his men to prepare to attack, and she realizes that she helped destroy Eregion, FINALLY, she realizes that everything is happening exactly as Sauron wanted, but of course, it is too late. In Eregion, Annatar/Sauron will not have to wait long: war is at the door.
I am committed to continuing to watch Rings of Power, but really, with Galadriel, it was torture…
