The Complete List of And Just Like That Spots in New York (weekly updated)

One of the best things And Just Like That inherited from Sex and the City is keeping us updated on New York’s restaurants and bars worth visiting—whether for tradition, trendiness, or sheer quality. Yes, while everything feels a bit unreal in the show’s idealized settings of gorgeous, spacious, perfectly decorated (and completely implausible) apartments for anyone who’s actually lived in the Big Apple, the places where the characters meet—except for the café they always went to in the original series—are real.

So, ready to save Carrie & Co.’s go-to spots? Their picks are always spot on!

In the first episode of Season 3, we see or hear about both pricey and more accessible places—whether for brunch, dinner, or drinks. This post will be updated weekly until the full list is complete. And yes, below you’ll also find the picks from the earlier seasons.

Season 3

Jac’s on Bond
26 Bond Street, near Lafayette Street, Noho

The stylish bar where Carrie meets up with her former neighbor, Lisette, who bought her old apartment.

Rosa Mexicano
61 Columbus Avenue at the corner of West 62nd Street, Lincoln Square

When it comes to upscale Mexican food, Rosa Mexicano is a New York staple. With over 30 years of history, it remains a cherished landmark for locals. The Upper West Side location of this Mexican mini-chain makes two appearances in the episode, as it’s where Miranda decides to flirt with the server preparing guacamole at the table. Heads-up: this location is expected to close soon and reopen nearby inside the Empire Hotel on West 63rd Street later this year.

Le B
283 West 12th Street at the corner of West Fourth Street, Greenwich Village

The restaurant, as the show itself jokes about, has cocktails that go for a steep $30 — still, it’s where Seema lines up her first dates.

Tatiana
10 Lincoln Center Plaza, at the corner of West 65th Street and Ninth Avenue, Lincoln Square

This Afro-Caribbean restaurant is where Seema meets the matchmaker recommended by her boss. One funny inconsistency: none of the dishes they order are actually on the real menu. Still, it’s worth a visit.

Bottino
246 Tenth Avenue, near West 24th Street, Chelsea

This chic and delicious Italian spot is one of the most in-demand restaurants in Manhattan. It’s where Seema dresses in pastel tones and tries to play the demure date — only to call it quits, both on the date and the matchmaking, before even trying the tiramisu (which, trust us, is excellent).

Motel No Tell
210 Avenue A at East 13th Street, East Village
The gay bar in the East Village where Carrie and Charlotte meet Miranda on a night out, looking for new girlfriends.

Tavern on the Green
West 67th Street & Central Park West, Upper West Side
The iconic Central Park restaurant doesn’t appear onscreen but is the butt of a joke for being a tourist trap. Nonsense—tradition isn’t a punchline. Tavern on the Green was converted into a restaurant by the legendary Robert Moses in 1934 and has changed hands several times since. The current ownership took over in 2013.

Jean-Georges
1 Central Park West, between Columbus Circle and West 61st Street, Lincoln Square
The classic (and expensive) French restaurant is exquisite, holding no less than three Michelin stars. Jean-Georges Vongerichten is one of the most renowned and influential chefs in the world, especially known for his ability to fuse French culinary techniques with Asian flavors, creating a sophisticated, innovative, and signature cuisine.

Red Rooster
310 Lenox Avenue at West 126th Street, Harlem
Red Rooster, in Harlem, is famous for being much more than a restaurant—it’s a cultural, social, and culinary symbol of contemporary African-American identity, and also a key part of Harlem’s revitalization. Founded by renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson, Red Rooster blends cuisine, history, music, and community activism.

Season 1

Clee, also known as Whitney Cafe, 99 Gansevoort Street
The first meeting spot for Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte sans Samantha is part of the Whitney Museum.

Smith’s Bar and Grill, 701 8th Avenue at 44th Street
Miranda makes a pit stop at this classic Theater District spot before heading to Columbia University via the subway.

The East Pole Kitchen & Bar, 133 East 65th Street
This is where Charlotte, Miranda, Carrie, and Stanford have lunch. The restaurant references the classic The Odeon in Tribeca (145 W Broadway), which is also worth visiting. East Pole is known for its contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Starbucks, 72 Spring Street
Charlotte and Miranda meet Carrie at the SoHo Starbucks, located right across from Balthazar (80 Spring St), which once appeared in Sex and the City under the name Balzac.

Chalait UWS, 461 Amsterdam Avenue
This matcha-specialty café is where Carrie has a candid conversation with Natasha, Big’s ex-wife.

Webster Hall, 125 East 11th Street
The venue where Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) performs and begins flirting with Miranda. The bar inside is also where their relationship starts to take shape.

Café Kitsuné, 550 Hudson Street
Lisa and Charlotte have coffee at this outpost of the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné, which blends fashion, music, and gastronomy. With locations around the world—including Paris, Tokyo, and New York—the café is known for its elegant, minimalist aesthetic and culinary offerings that fuse French and Japanese influences.

Parliament Espresso and Coffee Bar, 170 Central Park West
Another favorite of Lisa and Charlotte. Located inside the New-York Historical Society on the corner of Central Park West and 77th Street in the Upper West Side, this café offers specialty coffees made from 100% Arabica beans, sourced directly from La Virgen Coffee Estates in Nicaragua through a partnership with grower Henry Hueck.

Sant Ambroeus, 1000 Madison Avenue
One of the most iconic spots in NYC’s culinary scene, and the place where Carrie discusses selling her apartment. Founded in 1982, this is the first American outpost of the classic Milanese café established in 1936. It quickly became a sophisticated Upper East Side meeting place, merging Italian elegance with New York’s cosmopolitan charm.

Sant Ambroeus, 265 Lafayette Street
One of the most refined branches of the Italian-American chain, located in the heart of SoHo. It combines Milanese elegance with the neighborhood’s artistic energy, offering an upscale, contemporary dining experience. It’s where Seema and Carrie meet—and a great place to spot models, actors, and their paparazzi (Sarah Jessica Parker is a regular).

Boutros, 185 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn
Miranda and Nya Wallace meet at this Middle Eastern and New American restaurant in Brooklyn Heights. Opened in 2016 by chef-owner Allen Dabagh, the place pays homage to his Lebanese and Syrian heritage and New York culinary training. “Boutros” is a reference to his father, Pierre “Boutros” Dabagh, and the restaurant aims to blend family traditions with modern techniques.

Freehold, 45 S 3rd St, Brooklyn
Freehold is a café, bar, event venue, and coworking space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s also where Charlotte, Miranda, Carrie, and Anthony have brunch after Carrie learns she needs hip surgery. Inspired by a boutique hotel—but without rooms—Freehold offered an all-day “coffee-to-cocktails” experience. Note: the Brooklyn location closed in 2024. The current location is Freehold in the Park, located in Union Square Park, Manhattan, offering coffee, cocktails, and pizza in an open-air setting.

Bistrot Leo, 60 Thompson Street
Where Carrie tells Miranda and Charlotte she sold the apartment she shared with Big and bought a new one downtown that looks like an Apple Store. Bistrot Leo is a French restaurant in SoHo, part of the boutique hotel SIXTY SoHo, known for blending Parisian elegance with NYC’s modern style.

Le Crocodile, 80 Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn
Where Nya has a nightmare dinner—not because of the food, but because of the company and dull conversation. Located inside the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg and opened in 2019 by chefs Aidan O’Neal and Jake Leiber (of Chez Ma Tante fame), Le Crocodile quickly became one of NYC’s most acclaimed dining spots, even earning three stars from The New York Times critic.

Quality Bistro, 120 West 55th Street
Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda dine with Seema at this trendy pre-pandemic restaurant that regained global popularity thanks to And Just Like That. Quality Bistro offers a modern take on French classics in a chic setting.

Au Cheval, 33 Cortlandt Alley
Carrie tries to get back into dating, and her burger joint date quickly becomes memorable—for all the wrong reasons. Located on a discreet street in Tribeca, Au Cheval offers an intimate and elegant atmosphere with exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and a decor that blends classic and modern elements.

The Lobster Place, 75 9th Avenue
Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda meet for dinner at this seafood spot inside Chelsea Market.

Empire Diner, 210 10th Avenue
Miranda and Che have dinner at this classic railcar diner under the High Line in Chelsea.

Dante West Village, 551 Hudson Street
Another date spot for Carrie and the math teacher. It’s an offshoot of the renowned Dante bar and restaurant, located in the heart of the West Village. Opened in 2020, this location offers a refined cocktail and dining experience inspired by Basque cuisine and Parisian bistro aesthetics.

Veniero’s Pasticceria & Caffé, 342 E 11th Street
A beloved East Village institution, operating since the late 19th century.

  • Makina Cafe, an Ethiopian-Eritrean eatery at 36-47 30th Street, Queens.

The bar where Miranda finds out Che is moving to California. Located in SoHo, the venue is known for celebrating Latin American culture and cuisine in a sophisticated, modern space.

Jean-Georges, 176 Perry Street

Le Café de L’époque, 2 Rue du Bouloi, Paris, France
Okay, we’ve left NYC for Paris—this is where Carrie takes Big’s ashes, and where she chooses to go alone.

Season 2

Zooba, 100 Kenmare Street

A long-standing favorite on the Upper East Side, Nello is an Italian restaurant known more for its celebrity clientele than for the food.

Rao’s Hollywood, 1006 Seward Street, Los Angeles
A classic Los Angeles spot where Che and Tony Danza discuss their careers.

The Evelyn Hotel, 7 East 27th Street
Located in the NoMad neighborhood, the hotel offers three sophisticated dining options:

  • Brass, a contemporary French restaurant inspired by Jazz Age brasseries, led by chefs Fabián von Hauske Valtierra and Jeremiah Stone;
  • Tusk Bar, adjacent to Brass, features creative twists on classic cocktails and a seafood-focused menu.
  • Ninepin Café, offering lighter fare during the day, including sandwiches and breads.

Avena Ristorante, 22 East 66th Street
While nibbling on grissini, Seema and Anthony share stories about being robbed. Although they joke that the $24 gazpacho on the menu is yet another New York scam, Avena — a Northern Italian restaurant — doesn’t actually serve gazpacho. Carrie, “sick,” skips lunch and opts for a burger at home instead.

Varsano’s Chocolate, 172 West 4th Street
Carrie buys chocolates to comfort Lisette.

Flex Mussels, 1431 3rd Avenue at 81st Street
A seafood-focused restaurant, famous for its mussels, is located on the Upper East Side.

L’Adresse NoMad, 1184 Broadway
A contemporary American restaurant with European influences. Its elegant yet relaxed vibe makes it suitable for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Poppi, 20 East 69th Street
This charming Italian-inspired café and wine bar offered specialty coffee, focaccia sandwiches, negronis on tap, wine, and charcuterie boards. Sadly, Poppi closed in mid-2024 after just over two years in operation.

Rosemary’s, 18 Greenwich Avenue
The perfect spot for brunch.

The Mark Bar, 25 East 77th Street
This is the hotel where major celebrities stay, near Madison Avenue, and it also appears in And Just Like That.

Bar at Baccarat Hotel and Residences, 28 West 53rd Street

Up Thai, 1411 2nd Avenue
Scene of a dinner between Miranda and Che.

Verōnika, 281 Park Avenue South
Another lunch spot for the ever-stylish trio. It was located on the second floor of the Fotografiska New York photography museum and closed in June 2024. Known for its opulent décor and Central and Eastern European cuisine.

Gotham Bar and Grill, 12 East 12th Street
Charlotte and Harry missed their Valentine’s dinner here due to a health scare, and now it’s too late — the restaurant closed in November 2024 after 40 years in the same location.

Il Corso, 54 West 55th Street
The place where Carrie and Aidan reconnect. Il Corso is a traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, between 5th and 6th Avenues. It was founded in 1993 by Italian restaurateurs Angela Castaldo and Giovanna Miranda as an extension of their home cooking.

Benoit, 60 West 55th Street
Another spot where we see Carrie and Aidan. This century-old Parisian restaurant by Alain Ducasse has a New York location that is equally classic.

Reyna, 11 East 13th Street
Near Union Square, this is where Carrie updates Seema, Charlotte, and Miranda on her plans to visit Aidan’s family farm in Virginia. The menu features Lebanese-inspired cuisine.

La Mercerie, 53 Howard Street
This is where Cathy, Aidan’s ex-wife, meets with Carrie. Located inside the Roman and Williams Guild store in Soho, it opened in 2017, offering an upscale dining experience that fuses food and interior design. French chef Marie-Aude Rose, who previously worked at Guy Savoy and Pierre Gagnaire, leads the kitchen, celebrating the refined simplicity of French cuisine.

Paul’s Daughter, 1001 Riegelmann Boardwalk
You’ll have to head out to Coney Island for this one. Super traditional and packed in the summer. Sandwiches, ice cream, and other classics are on the menu.

Seeds & Weeds, 96 South Street
Okay, this one’s a bit of a trick. The vegetarian and vegan restaurant located on the second floor of the Tin Building appeared in And Just Like That and opened in 2022. It offered inventive dishes like celeriac katsu, mushroom walnut Bolognese, and white curry sweet potato dumplings. The space was modern and airy with views of the East River. However, it closed in August 2023 and was replaced by a second location of abcV, also by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Just so you know.

Chapel Bar, 275 Park Avenue South
It’s in this former chapel turned bar that Charlotte celebrates returning to work and sets boundaries with her family. Chapel Bar was housed in the old Church Missions House, designed by James Renwick Jr., the same architect behind St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Originally a school and later a church, the building was transformed into a private lounge, retaining Gothic architectural elements and incorporating modern design. Stunning.
