Do you remember her? Of course you do.

Little Grace Van Cutsem was just three when she was chosen as one of the very few flower girls who walked with Kate Middleton on that April 29, 2011. She was never really impressed by her Godfather’s wedding, apparently. Moreover, when the cue for “the kiss” came, little Grace was clearly annoyed.

Unwillingly, Grace became one of the most popular memes of all times, the “grumpy flower girl”. She is the daughter of Hugh and Rose van Cutsem, two of William’s closest friends. Her cousin was Meghan Markle‘s bridesmaid, but Grace, by then 10 years old, didn’t repeat the role. Today, at 13, she is not longer appearing too often in her mom’s Instagram account, but we shall never forget little Grace!
