Invasion of Westeros at Marvel

Fantasy and fiction fans live two decades of joy, with Marvel heroes gaining space (and budget) in grandiose films and intelligent spin-offs. In another studio there is an equally beloved franchise: Game of Thrones, and now House of the Dragon. Its stars are adored and we’ve been following their entry into the Disney universe for some time.

One of the first prominent ones to be bringing the two worlds together was Sophie Turner, one of the stars of X-Men. Now that mutants can be on Disney (they were from Fox), the final scene of Secret Invasion screamed for an obvious meme of Sansa Stark, or rather Jean Gray (Turner) challenging Daenerys Targaryen, or the Super Skrull G’iah (Emilia Clarke).

In Eternals, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Robb Stark (Richard Madden) had a quick scene together, which obviously mobilized those who always regretted the separation of cousins/brothers in Game of Thrones. Like Dane Whitman, it could be that Kit will still cross paths with Emilia at some point, as he’s supposed to be the Black Knight, which has yet to be more than a quick teaser in the film.

But what many are looking forward to and may be closer to is having Emilia Clarke and Elizabeth Olsen together. What would be more awesome?

It’s no secret that Elizabeth was tested for the role that ended up going to Tamzin Merchant who was later replaced by the (then) unknown Emilia, without any fan ceasing to dream of her entry into the universe of Westeros. Before settling on actress Gayle Rankins for the role of Allys Rivers in House of the Dragon, fans weren’t sure how an actress of Elizabeth Olsen‘s status would fit in a supporting role, but there was speculation that she could make it into the franchise. It’s like she’s Henry Cavill in skirts, the dream is worth the speculation.

The difference is given by the following: it is very likely that G’iah and the Scarlet Witch bump into each other at Marvel. That is, we can already dream about the Game of Thrones X Marvel clash! Thank you, Emilia!
