A festa do Emmy é longa, mas fique sabendo: se colocasse todos os indicados numa mesma noite, seria ainda maior. Tipo umas 6h de cerimônia. Por isso, há anos, a premiação é dividida e apenas os “principais” ficam no domingo, dia 15. Os “técnicos”, acontecem uma semana antes, ou seja, foi em 8 de setembro. E se você acha que já sabe quem vai ganhar, pode ter certeza, sabe mesmo.

A maioria das estatuetas já foi entregue na noite do Creative Arts Emmys e os vencedores, são, em grande parte das séries que vão dominar o Primetime Emmy Awards 2024: Shogun, The Bear e Bebê Rena.

A certeza que 2024 foi o ano do revival de Shogun, uma obra de sucesso de 50 anos atrás, é que o épico bateu o recorde de mais premiada em um único ano com nada menos do que 14 vitórias. Isso reforça a estimativa que seus atores principais também têm chances.

Minha alegria é que Only Murders in the Building – finalmente – também conquistou prêmios. Minha série de comédia favorita tem sido prejudicada com a incoerente e até injusta presença de The Bear na mesma categoria, como o mundo mesmo reclama. Aliás, lembramos que a “comédia dramática” da FX é que tem mais indicações esse ano, um total de 23.

Os prêmios entregues antes são em geral para a equipe que trabalha nos bastidores, em áreas como direção, edição, elenco, figurino e design de produção. Mas alguns atores também foram reconhecidos como os astros convidados para participações especiais, assim como trilha sonora.
