Netflix reveals full cast of Pride and Prejudice (see photo)

With the official photo of the Bennet women, Netflix has kicked off production on its new adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and announced the complete cast.

Written by bestselling author Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love), the six-part miniseries promises a faithful yet contemporary take on the classic 1813 novel.

In the official image, we see Emma Corrin (The Crown) as Elizabeth Bennet, Freya Mavor (Industry) as Jane Bennet, Academy Award winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite, The Crown) as the family matriarch Mrs. Bennet, Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper) as Lydia, and newcomers Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery as Mary and Kitty.

Also confirmed are Jack Lowden (Slow Horses) as Mr. Darcy, Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat) as Mr. Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley, and Fiona Shaw as the formidable Lady Catherine de Bourgh.

The showrunner promises a respectful take on the source material. “Pride and Prejudice is the original template for romantic comedy. It’s been a joy to dive back into its pages and find both familiar and fresh ways to bring this beloved book to life. It’s a story about love, friendship, family, and society — all through Austen’s sharply observant lens.”

A release date has yet to be announced, but the series is expected to premiere in early 2026. The platform hopes this new version of Pride and Prejudice will move longtime fans and win the hearts of a new generation around the world.
