We go often into the “hidden messages” that Queen Elizabeth passes through brooches or colors or by breathing, really. And, as we are increasingly concerned about her health, we saw her standing and working at her office.
No brooches, only flowers and a table with her cherished photos. Before calling out “absences” it’s important to highlight we cannot see the whole set. From what we see though, she does like Mario Testino‘s portraits of the Royal Family. Elizabeth II has good taste.
Testino, Princess Diana’s favorite photographer, was behind some of the iconic images such as these.
In 2004, he took these as well, for Prince Harry‘s 20th Birthday.
Noticeably, amongst many of her treasured pictures, including William’s and Kate’s engagement photo, also shot by Testino, it’s her son’s with her grandson’s.
It is not the first time the Queen handpick the photos she is fully aware will be caught by cameras and this is a poignant sign as a mother and grandmother of her love for her family.
The original photo is at the National Portrait Gallery, in London.
