April comes with lots of great content on all platforms, but one, in particular, deserves attention: The Afterparty.
Created by Oscar winners Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the series is a delight and delights thriller/crime fans by bringing each episode of the series told in the first person of each witness. This detail, extremely well tied, provides different reports of the same fact, generating laughter and changing our opinion of whodunit or, who’s the murderer. The narrative also explores different genres, from musical to horror. Brilliant is little to praise.

In the first season, the crime occurred during the after-party of a school reunion. In the second, a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and all the guests are suspects. Our Clouseau in skirts, Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) returns and finds the hapless Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoe Chao) once again in the middle of a suspicious scene and need to solve the mystery. Relatives, lovers, and business partners are suspects and one of them effectively dunit (killed).
Until it premieres, to remember one of the best moments of the 1st season.
