The pace of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is making us dizzy. The series, which I repeat, was stuck in the self sabotages of Midge (Rachel Boshanan) for four long seasons, decided to end the story by going back and forth in time. Endlessly. Now we are assured that despite her insistence and almost making it, she will eventually be very successful, will be married no less than four times, and will have to deal with the consequences of being an absent mother (none of the children like her).
Knowing this, what is left for us to follow the story? Yes, because Midge’s turning point seems to be far away and it’s even worse knowing her future and having to deal with the present. The big surprise of the story was that the comedian and her manager, Susie (Alex Borstein), broke up badly. Why? In one episode it was obvious to imagine that it would have to do with Joel (Michael Zegen) and her debt to the Mafia. Bingo.

And now? Do we really care? Fans who were banking on Susie’s unrequited crush on Midge gained hope with the joke in which she clearly speaks of her breakup with the manager: “It started with a contract, it ended with a lawsuit and we never had sex. Except once. There really isn’t much to do in Pensacola.”
I’m watching the end of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel out of sheer stubbornness. The show in fact already feels like it ended two seasons ago. But we have yet more to see.
I just watched it last night and was like.. FINALLY you tell us! ha!
