Streaming Top 10 – Week of June 8–13, 2026: The Stories Hidden in the Rankings

Every week, streaming charts tell interesting stories about where each platform stands. Some confirm familiar trends, others reveal unexpected successes, and, every now and then, they offer a glimpse into something bigger: the way audiences are consuming movies and television.

This week’s snapshot does exactly that. Streaming is becoming less dependent on new releases and increasingly driven by strong libraries, established franchises, and hits capable of surviving for months — or even years.

Netflix: Jennifer Lopez rules the movies while international series dominate

In films, the week belongs to Jennifer Lopez. Office Romance debuted directly at No. 1, hardly surprising for a star who has maintained enormous popularity with Netflix viewers for decades. But the story doesn’t end there. The presence of Monster-in-Law in the Top 10 highlights a phenomenon we’ve seen with other stars: audiences rediscovering older titles after a new release. It’s a kind of instant nostalgia.

The rest of the list reinforces what Netflix does better than any competitor: offering a little bit of everything. Animation, action films, thrillers, true crime, and even Zack Snyder’s massive cut of Justice League all coexist, with the latter continuing to demonstrate remarkable staying power.

On the television side, Teach You a Lesson sits at No. 1, providing further evidence that Brazilian audiences have fully embraced Asian productions. But perhaps the continued presence of the Michael Jackson documentary among the most-watched titles is even more significant. Documentaries and series centered on famous figures continue to attract loyal viewers, while shows like Sweet Magnolias and The Four Seasons prove that lighter dramas enjoy impressive longevity.

HBO Max: Euphoria remains a phenomenon

Among films, My Mother’s Wedding leads a chart largely supported by catalog titles. There is no single breakout hit, but rather an audience spread across thrillers, action movies, and older releases, reinforcing the strength of the platform’s library.

Series tell a different story. Euphoria remains at No. 1 and may be one of the greatest examples of streaming longevity in 2026. Few shows remain culturally relevant so many years after their debut, but farewells have that effect: everyone wants just a little more.

The rest of the ranking reflects HBO Max’s diversity. Rick and Morty remains virtually untouchable. From continues to grow through word of mouth, while reality shows, sitcoms, and Turkish dramas all share space on the chart. Few platforms attract such a varied audience.

Disney+: Toy Story remains a powerhouse

If anyone still doubts Pixar’s strength, all they need to do is look at the movie rankings. Toy Story 5 leads the chart, but the real story is that four films from the franchise appear simultaneously in the Top 10. Nearly thirty years after the original film’s release, Woody and Buzz remain extraordinarily valuable assets for Disney. Having Taylor Swift on the soundtrack certainly doesn’t hurt.

On the series side, the expected happened: The Testaments, the sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, debuted at No. 1. But the second-place finish for Not Suitable for Work suggests the show has attracted a larger audience than many expected despite mixed reactions. It even led the chart for a few days before settling into second place, which is still an impressive achievement.

Between Star Wars franchises and the seemingly endless popularity of Bluey, Disney continues to thrive on the balance between nostalgia and family entertainment.

Prime Video: Romance rules

In films, Jack Ryan: Ghost War once again confirms the enduring appeal of Tom Clancy’s iconic character. Amazon’s film catalog remains heavily oriented toward action and traditional entertainment.

But the biggest trend appears among series. Every Year After leads the chart, followed by Off Campus, while The Summer I Turned Pretty remains in the Top 10. Prime Video seems to have found an extremely loyal audience for romances aimed at younger female viewers.

At the same time, Spider-Noir and The Boys prevent the platform from being defined by a single demographic. That balance is precisely what has made Amazon one of the most consistent streamers of 2026.

Paramount+: Taylor Sheridan’s empire keeps expanding

In movies, it’s impossible not to smile seeing Top Gun: Maverick back on top. Nearly four years after its theatrical release, Tom Cruise continues to demonstrate a rare kind of staying power. The rest of the list reinforces Paramount+’s audience preference for action, nostalgia, and classic entertainment.

In television, Taylor Sheridan has effectively become his own genre. Dutton Ranch leads the rankings, while Marshals, Yellowstone, and Tulsa King also appear among the platform’s most-watched series. It’s hard to imagine another service so dependent on a single creator, but for now, the strategy continues to pay off.

Apple TV: Cape Fear debuts strong, but F1 remains the phenomenon

In movies, the story of the week is still F1. Nearly six months after arriving on streaming, the film remains at No. 1. That’s extraordinary. Very few movies maintain this level of popularity for so long. It is also a testament to Brad Pitt’s enduring star power, considering that Wolfs is also among the platform’s most-watched titles.

Even more interesting is the rest of the chart. The Gorge, Greyhound, The Family Plan, Luck, and Wolfs demonstrate that Apple’s film library is finally beginning to mature. For the first time, the platform appears to be reaping the rewards of years of investment.

On the television side, Cape Fear debuts directly in first place, excellent news for Javier Bardem and Amy Adams. But what stands out even more is the strength of the For All Mankind universe. Star City ranks fourth, while the original series sits at No. 6. This is exactly the kind of franchise synergy Apple hoped for when it began expanding its biggest properties.

And, of course, Ted Lasso continues doing what it has done since 2020: refusing to disappear. After all, in just a few months, we’ll be reunited with our favorite coach.

In the end, perhaps that is the biggest story of the week. Streaming is maturing. And increasingly, the winners are those capable of transforming individual hits into libraries that feed themselves.
